Your towing height will be determined by the height of your trunk latch
Normal working height is from 14” to 21”, allowing approximately 30% of the cans weight to be resting to the support arm.
 
Hooks extend 6" beyond the bumper and swivel allowing cans to go around curves without binding. 
 
The three layers of foam padding; 1” center pad along with the additional 1/2" foam pad that is 29” long will protect the bumper when going around curves.
